The Fire Academy closes when Rowan College at Gloucester County closes. In the event of a potential College closing and class cancellations because of​ weather or other circumstances, all employees and students can verify campus closures by calling the central switchboard at 856-468-5000 and listening for a broadcast message. 

Rowan College's school number is 814 for day classes and activities and 2814 for evening classes and activities.
