The Engineering Technologies Program is for students interested in engineering-related careers rather than pure engineering science. It is based on understanding the application of engineering principles. The goal of this program is for students to develop the necessary knowledge and skills for gainful employment as land survey technicians and apprentices or transfer to a four-year Engineering Technologies program. The program includes a balance of technologies, science, mathematics, and general education courses to complete their degree and become more effective technologists in the field.
Students who have completed the program will be able to:
- Demonstrate and apply the basic principles of land, route, and construction surveying
- Utilize modern measurement technologies to acquire spatial data
- Employ industry-standard software to solve technical problems
