On the Gloucester Campus, East College Drive will be closed on Monday, February 26, through the end of May due to road construction.

All traffic must use the other entrances to the College. Employees will be able to access F-lot by driving through E-lot. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause & look forward to a safer traffic pattern once construction is complete. Click HERE for a map.

Frequently Asked Questions

Student FAQs
Q. I am registered for a course, but it isn't showing up in eLearning.
A. There are a few things to consider.
  • First, not all courses use eLearning. If your course is marked "lecture" or "web-enhanced" there's a chance your instructor is not using eLearning.
  • If your course is marked "hybrid" or "online" please know that courses are not available to students until the first day of a given term (unless an instructor chooses to open their course early). That means you probably will not see your course listed until then.
  • Be sure to check the start date of your course. Our Flex-Start courses have varying start dates and it's possible you don't see your course because it hasn't started yet.
  • Additionally, there is a slight delay after you register for a course before it will appear in eLearning. You will see the course appear in eLearning within 24 hours during the regular work week, though it is usually a much shorter delay than that.

If the above information does not apply to you, you can contact Gloucester eLearning Support by clicking HERE.

Q. I'm unable to access eLearning.
A. Please contact Gloucester eLearning Support.

Q. Which browser should I use to access eLearning?
A. Read about technical requirements for eLearning.

Q. I registered late for a course and when I log into eLearning, I don't see it listed.
A. Once you register for a course, you will not have access to it until the system updates. Updates are run three times a day at 8am, 12pm and 4pm during the regular work week, so you may need to wait until the next update to gain access to the course.

Q. What are the types of eLearning courses?

A. There are three types of eLearning courses at RCSJ Gloucester Campus:

  1. Online Courses — Online courses are held entirely online and students will never meet in a physical classroom. Students are required to complete all course work, including tests and exams, online.
  2. Hybrid Courses — In Hybrid courses, 50–75% of all class meetings are held on the RCGC campus, while the remaining class meetings and course work is conducted online. Students will be required to complete no more than 50% of the course work online.
  3. Web-Enhanced Courses — Web-enhanced courses are the most common type of course at RCGC, and are very similar to traditional, face-to-face courses. Web-enhanced courses meet on campus and utilize eLearning for up to 25% of the course work.
