The college uses the New Jersey Career Assistance Navigator (NJCAN) as a career assessment and exploration tool. To begin, create a profile by visiting www.njcan.org and use the Username: Cumberlandstudent1 and Password: NJcan!17 as first time log ins only.
Students can explore more about their major and learn about typical career areas and types of employers that hire people with each major and strategies to make them a more marketable candidate.

Experiential Learning (EL)
EL is the process of learning through experience and hands-on learning. The college offers these opportunities through internships, field work, and service learning classes.
Finding a Mentor

Student Employment - Federal Work Study (FWS)
The FWS Program provides federal funds to the college in order to provide part-time employment to help needy students to finance the costs of postsecondary education. Positions are available on and off campus. To be considered, students must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
