Clay College

An incredible creative environment for experienced clay artists and newcomers alike.
Both credit and non-credit students learn the process of pottery and the ceramic arts at RCSJ's Clay College, located at 321 N High St in the Millville Arts District. Students form distinctive pottery and sculpture by using various hand building techniques including pinch, coil slab and the pottery wheel.

Clay College's credit and continuing education ceramics courses are popular among young and old students who take the courses during the day, in the evening and on weekends. Students can take ceramics courses with a career in mind or for personal enrichment. Please be sure to check out our non-credit offerings.

Clay College is a spacious facility that's 150 feet long, and equipped with 15 pottery wheels and four kilns. The gallery located at the entrance showcases the work of students as well as local and regional artists. The studio is open every day and is available for students to work outside of class time. Clay College is bustling during classes and Third Fridays, an ongoing celebration in the Millville Arts District.
