To make the most of your college experience, familiarize yourself with the office of Student Life. The office hosts fun, exciting, and engaging events on campus that are held all throughout the academic year, free to all students with a valid Student ID. These events are a great way for students to immerse themselves in College life and also provide a forum to make lasting friendships. Our motto is “College is more than just going to class!”
To find out more about the campus activities and club meetings on Rowan College of South Jersey's Gloucester campus, you can see the calendar of upcoming events below, or view them on your student portal under the Campus Life & Clubs tabs.

If you have interests or hobbies you’d like to enhance, Rowan College has over 30 campus clubs that you can join. Each Club has its own advisor and meets at various times of the week throughout the year. Visit our Student Clubs page to learn more.
You could also add leadership skills to your resume and become the voice for the student body by joining the Student Government Association. Nominations for executive officer positions and freshman and sophomore senator positions take place in the Fall and Spring semesters.
All of us in Student Life have been watching these past few weeks’ events unfold with you, and as a department, we want to make one thing clear: Black Lives Matter.
Our mission has always been to create spaces for our students to be their most amazing selves, and to feel safe while expressing themselves. In this, we also seek to create spaces for students to confront biases, see different perspectives, and form the best-educated opinions they can.
We will continue to support our Clubs and Organizations, which have always been spaces for connection, conversation, and safe change, along with our Student Government Association, who reminds our students that their voices are powerful, and that those voices will be heard.
Even though we cannot be together in person, club representatives will be coming together to create spaces where students can share their thoughts and feelings, make connections, and learn from one another over Zoom and other platforms. Stay tuned for announcements regarding upcoming opportunities for dialog and connection lead by students.
During this time, small moments of discomfort can mean a lifetime of change, and that makes all the difference.
Hate will have no home here at RCSJ.
We support you. We hear you. You matter.
