On the Gloucester Campus, East College Drive will be closed on Monday, February 26, through the end of May due to road construction.

Library at Gloucester

Library Card & ID Validation

Students should get their ID cards at Student Services, then come to the library's Circulation Desk to have it validated each term. Proof of Rowan College registration is required. Your student ID card is also your LOGIN library card. It may be used at the Rowan College Library and at numerous other participating libraries in Gloucester, Salem, and Cumberland counties. County residents who do not have a LOGIN card may apply for borrowing privileges at the Rowan College Library for an annual fee of $10. Lost cards must be reported
immediately to avoid unauthorized use.


Photo ID Requirement

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974, as amended helps protect the privacy of student education records.  The intent of the legislation is to ensure the privacy and accuracy of education records.  It applies to all institutions that are recipients of federal aid administered by the Secretary of Education.  Rowan College requires photo ID for all business transactions.  Students without college-issued photo identification will be referred to the appropriate college administrator for assistance.

Photo IDs and parking decals are available in the Student Services office during normal operating hours. The Library validates your student ID card each semester you are enrolled at Rowan College.
