This is the place for students, families, faculty and staff to get all the details of graduation ceremonies as well as commencement week programs and festivities.

All students must apply to graduate in order to be evaluated for degree or academic certificate program completion, whether or not they intend to participate in Commencement.
An invitation to participate in the Commencement is extended ONLY to eligible students via student email account. Those who have received an invitation to participate in Commencement, must RSVP by the deadline.

All events through Friday, May 15, 2020 will be postponed. This includes Commencement on both campuses. For more information, please visit our Coronavirus updates page.​

Students are requested to report to the designated area on campus, wearing commencement regalia by 5:15pm. Graduates not present are removed from the list of participants and may not enter the line.  This is a rain or shine event! There are no tickets for the outside event. Seating is available on a first come, first served basis.

for the Commencement ceremony is very limited.  We request that graduates and their guests car-pool as much as is possible. Please remember that parking fills early so plan your time accordingly.

Viewing Options
The Commencement ceremony is a rain or shine event.  For your convenience, the ceremony will simulcast over Comcast cable channel 22 and at the college inside our Fine and Performing Arts Theatre, as well as being live-streamed during the event.  

Severe Weather Plan
Please note that the Commencement Ceremony is a rain or shine event. However, in the event of severe weather the ceremony will be moved indoors. An announcement will be posted on the website as well as social media. In order to accommodate students and family, the ceremony will be split and each graduate will receive 3 tickets for guests. Below are the times, as well as who participates in which ceremony.

  • 4:00 p.m. (graduates arrive at 3:00) - Students marching with Associates in Science (AS), Associates in Fine Arts (AFA), and Academic Certificates (AC) 
  • 7:00 p.m. (graduates arrive at 6:00)  - Students Marching with Associates in Arts (AA) and Associates in Applied Science (AAS)
