Workplace Literacy and Basic Skills Training Program

These free workshops are available through a partnership between the New Jersey Community College Consortium for Workforce and Economic Development, and the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Attendees must be employed by a registered New Jersey business and be paid for the time spent in training. Public and State employees are not eligible for this grant funded training, but there are other options available. Problems are bound to come up in any organization, it’s important to know how to address these challenges with good reasoning and logic. Utilizing critical thinking skills will lead you toward being a more rational and disciplined thinker. This workshop will provide participants the skills to approach problems critically, as well as recognize the power of open-mindedness and altering your perspective, to make the best choices.

What is Performance Management?

This introductory course is designed for students with little or no previous knowledge of ASL.  This course teaches basic conversation, grammar, and vocabulary.  The focus is on expressive and receptive American Sign Language, fingerspelling, and the culture of the Deaf community.​

You will learn the essentials of QuickBooks focusing on getting started and learning the most used tasks for operating a small business. Managing Multigenerational Employees
