Community College Opp​ortunity Grant​


New Jersey students enrolled in any one of the State's 18 county colleges (no age restriction)


Available for Academic Year 2021-2022!


To pay for tuition and approved educational fees not covered by other grant funds

Eligibility Details:

  • Available to households with a total adjusted gross income between $0 and $65,000
  • Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or New Jersey Alternative Financial Aid Application
  • Enroll in at least 6 credits per semester
  • Have no prior college degree
  • Make satisfactory academic progress

New Jersey’s Community College Opportunity Grant provides “free tuition” for those who qualify.

This funding will be awarded after all other federal, state or institutional aid. (Funds will be deposited directly to the college.)
