What is Career & Technical Education?
Career and Technical Education (CTE) prepares students for high-wage, skill-specific careers that are in demand. CTE offers vocational training for a specific job field by focusing on hands-on training while also providing core academics and employability coaching.
Not sure what to study?
The National Career Clusters® Framework organizes for Career Technical Education (CTE) programs in clusters to help learners navigate their way to greater success in college and career. A career cluster is a group of occupations with similar features. Jobs in the same cluster require similar knowledge or skill sets. If someone enjoys a job in a particular cluster, they are more likely to enjoy related occupations in the group. Download a full list of career pathways
