About the Program
The Pathways to Recovery Program, funded by the NJ Department of Labor, supports services for individuals impacted by the opioid crisis. The program provides participants with career services, support services and career training to prepare them for employment in in-demand industries.
Who is Eligible?
- At least 18 years of age
- Resident of Salem, Camden, Gloucester, Cape May, Atlantic, Burlington, or Cumberland County
- Impacted by the opioid epidemic
- WIOA eligible and ready to work
- Unemployed or underemployed
- Seeking full-time employment
What the Program Offers
- Education & Training: Digital Literacy, Financial Literacy, High School Equivalency, Soft Skills, Work Readiness Skills and Industry Career Training
- Support Services: Transportation Assistance, Work Supplies, Interview Clothing, Grooming Essentials, Childcare Services, Mental Health Referrals and other services
- Career Services: Job Coaching, Job Placement Assistance, Networking & Recruitment Events
Pathways to Employment
- Complete the One Stop enrollment form & provide required documentation
- Develop Individual Employment Plan (IEP) with case manager
- Complete CASAS Basic Skills Assessment
- Complete Career Interest Inventory
- Access supportive services and training
Expectations of Participants
- Gain employment
- Participate in job search activities
- Meet with case manager regularly
- Complete tasks associated with your IEP
Required Documentation
- Proof of Citizenship (Passport, Birth Certificate, Naturalization Certificate, Permanent Resident Card)
- Proof of Address (Driver’s License, State ID, Utility Bill)
- Selective Service Registration (males only, born after 1960)
- Proof of Veteran Status (DD-214, if applicable)
