People in Transition

HAWN.jpgCrystal Noboa

Crystal is a Bilingual Licensed Social Worker who has an extensive background working with families.  She attended Rutgers University, first obtaining a Bachelor’s degree, then a Master’s degree in Social Work.  Most recently she has been working with survivors of domestic violence and families who are under the care of the Division of Child Protection and Permanency.

She is passionate about helping those in need. Because of her own life experiences she understands what it means to have an advocate helping you to get your voice heard. She joined the Center for People in Transition with the goal of providing support to displaced homemakers.  Her focus is on expanding the program by using her bilingual abilities to provide services to those in the Hispanic community.

She is committed to those experiencing situational crises, helping them break down the barriers preventing them from reaching their goals, and ultimately leading them to self-sufficiency.
