Welcome to New Student Orientation (NSO)

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Congratulations on your decision to attend Rowan College of South Jersey - Cumberland Campus!

Once you’ve applied, satisfied the placement test requirement, and established your preferred form of payment you are now ready to attend a New Student Orientation (NSO)!

Every incoming freshman is required to attend an NSO before meeting with an academic advisor to register for courses. New Student Orientations are optional for transfer students who have already completed 9 or more college credits.​

​​​2. Self-Paced Student Orientation

The Self-Paced Orientation offers an online, step-by-step guide with videos and important information that you will need to know before scheduling a meeting with your advisor. This Orientation session is self-paced and available online 24/7 for your convenience. Please note that you will need to complete the necessary steps as outlined in the Self-Paced Orientation and then schedule a meeting with your advisor to begin registering for classes.
