Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ) is pleased to partner with Uwill, the leading mental health and wellness solution for students. Beginning July 2023, RCSJ will offer students Uwill's free, immediate access to a licensed therapist driven by student needs and preferences. Uwill's teletherapy technology is an easy-to-use online platform and provides direct access to crisis and wellness programming.
This affiliation with UWill complements RCSJ's Premier Partnership with Acenda Integrated Health and underscores RCSJ's commitment to offering innovative programs and services promoting student success.
To schedule a Uwill teletherapy appointment, students can choose a therapist based on their preferences including availability, issue, gender, language, ethnicity. Students can also choose a time that fits their schedule with day, night, and weekend availability. Uwill is private, secure, and confidential.
“The flexibility and accessibility of UWill is what made this partnership invaluable to our college. The hope is that providing our students with options will offer them more agency in their wellness journey and provide access to meet their timely recovery needs," states Kristen Wilson, director, Behavioral Services-Gloucester.
Utilizing its proprietary technology and counselor team, Uwill pioneered the first student and therapist matching platform in 2020 led by founder and CEO Michael London. Uwill partners with more than 200 institutions to provide free mental health and wellness support for students.
If a student is experiencing a mental health crisis, help is available 24/7/365 by calling 1-833-646-1526. For a medical emergency, call 911. Access is quick and easy. Students can create a profile and book their first session in just minutes.
