Designed to help students in their senior year transition from high school to Rowan College of South Jersey, the Priority Admissions Program provides added support to enroll in college with ease.

Benefits
  • Enhanced Customer Service
Individual and group appointments at high schools and the college where questions can be answered and application assistance can be provided.

  • Placement Testing
Students who need to take the College's placement exam, the Accuplacer, for the first time are encourage to speak with their guidance office to see if any testing initiative are planned. The Accuplacer is FREE the first time it is taken.

  • Priority Registration

  • Financial Aid and Scholarship Opportunities
Although the College provides one of the best values in education today, there are many sources of additional funding to make your education even more affordable, including scholarship opportunities for graduating high school seniors.

  • Transfer Pathways
Bachelor’s degree completion and transfer opportunities to Rowan University, Rowan College’s premier partner, or the institution of your choice.

How to Get Started at RCSJ

All incoming student's must decide on the campus they plan to attend: Cumberland or Gloucester. Factors that the student can consider in making this decision is the distance from residence and program of study "major".

Apply for Admission

The incoming student must apply to the campus they plan on attending.

  • Apply to Cumberland campus
  • Apply to Gloucester campus

Paying for College

The incoming student should consider and apply for all potential financial aid opportunities that are available. It is recommended that all students apply for Federal and State Aid.

Satisfy Testing Requirements

Prior to registering for classes, all incoming students must take the Accuplacer test or provide proof of exemption.

Check with your high school counselor regarding any testing initiatives that the high school has planned with Rowan College.

Advisement and Registration

Students must meet with an academic advisor prior to selecting courses. The advisor you see will often depend on your program of study. We offer various Priority Registration events at both campuses.
