What Determines If I Satisfied All Graduation Requirements?

Once the application to graduate is completed, the Office of Academic Advisement will begin to review all submissions.  Advisors will verify that all degree requirements are met which include the successful completion of grades necessary for the chosen program of study, the correct number of credits necessary for the degree sought, and a minimum GPA of a 2.0.  If all degree requirements are met, the Director of Advisement will notify you by your Rowan College email.  If the degree requimrents are not met, your Academic Advisor will contact the student to discuss the outstanding requirements.  All notifications will be done in accordance with the Graduation Dates and Deadlines Chart.

Helpful Tips

All information regarding the status of a student's graduation application will be sent to their Rowan College email address only

  • The Degree Evaluation tool is NOT used to determine successful completion of degree requirements.  (This tool assists students with their plan of study only.)  Please work directly with YOUR assigned Academic Advisor for information about degree/COA completion.
  • Students can review their Degree Evaluation report by logging into the portal and navigating to the "My Campus" page.  In the middle of the page, locate the section labeled, "Graduation Tools" and select, "Degree Evaluation."  Additional information regarding the Degree Evaluation tool can be found here.
  • If you are planning to earn a second concurrent degree/COA, you must submit two separate applications (one for each major) but will not be charged a second graduation fee.
  • Information regarding the ordering of your cap and gown for eligible students will be emailed to your Rowan College email during the spring semester.
