Arts Sciences, History, A.A. (Gloucester)

The Arts & Sciences – History option provides the general education foundation necessary for students who plan to transfer into a history-related field of study towards a baccalaureate degree. Using available elective credits, students will focus on history or political science as a specific field of study.

Program Goals
Students who have completed the program will be able to:

  • Communicate effectively in writing and orally
  • Demonstrate an understanding of various scientific, artistic, social and historic ideas and perspectives​
  • Analyze information and use critical thinking skills​ to make decisions and solve problems
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of the human experience and the development of societies from a historic perspective
