Rowan College of South Jersey County is an official New Jersey Department of Education Department testing center for the High School Equivalency Testing. The
High School Equivalency Testing is one of three exams available in the State of New Jersey for individuals to earn a High School Equivalency Diploma. The computer-based exam is given at the Workforce Development Center of the College.
To register for the HISET visit www.HiSet.org. The High School Equivalency Testing is available day, evening and weekends throughout the year. If you have any questions, please contact the Gloucester RCSJ Testing Center at 856-415-2268 or 856-681-6249.
How To Register
You will need the following to schedule a testing appointment online:
The tests can be administered only to persons who are at least 16 years old; have not graduated from an accredited high school or received a high school equivalency certificate or diploma; and are not currently enrolled in a traditional high school.
You must be a New Jersey resident. If you are 16 or 17 years old, you must complete a Certificate of Consent to Participate, verifying that you are not enrolled in school, and the parent or legal guardian must bring it in person to the test center or have the consent form notarized by a New Jersey notary before a test will be administered. Download the Certificate of Consent to Participate form.
Please submit the completed Cert. of Consent form to PSI Test taker services.
Please provide Test Center Name and/or Site ID# as follows for Rowan College South Jersey/Gloucester/ID#16306.
The test taker will then be contacted via telephone to assist with test appointment booking within 48 hours of submission. If no response to phone call an email will be sent with directions to contact PSI.

The
High School Equivalency Testing program has a combined testing length of about seven hours. It covers the following subject areas:

Each subtest cost is $20.75. The total cost of the complete exam is $103.75
