What is EOF?

The Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) is one of the nation's most comprehensive and successful state-supported efforts to provide access to higher education for students who lack the economic resources and academic preparation to attend college. For more information about the EOF program and its rich history, please visit the official State of New Jersey website at EOF History.

Students accepted into the EOF program will have access to a variety of support services, including academic advising, career counseling, tutoring, financial aid guidance, and transfer support. In addition, participants may be eligible for annual grants of up to $1600, which can be renewed each year based on continued program eligibility.

Space is limited and based on program allocation. Students are encouraged to apply early and submit the required documentation requested by the EOF department for admission.

Final program eligibility determination is made by the campus EOF Director at RCSJ.
