Admissions Criteria

​​​​​​​Minimum Standards for Radiography Program Admission

Students wishing admission into the Radiography Program must be high school graduates or have earned a GED equivalency. In addition, they must meet the following minimum criteria.

  1. Applicants must be at college level in Reading, English, and Math
  2. HESI exam, applicants must score 70% or above in each of the following categories: English, Science, and Math
  3. Critical Thinking score (HESI) must obtain a score of 700 or above​
  4. Minimum GPA of 2.0 or above
  5.  Eligibility to register for A&P I in the Fall semester (Must have completed Biology & Chemistry)
Students who do not meet the above criteria will not be considered for Radiography Program admission. Students meeting the above criteria are eligible to be considered for admission but are not guaranteed acceptance into the program.

Admission Scoring is as follows:

GPA = 20%
Highest completed Science grade = 25%
HESI test scores = 45%
Critical Thinking portion of HESI = 10%
