The Writing Studio

Mission Statement for The Writing Studio

The Writing Studio at Rowan College of South Jersey helps students improve their writing across disciplines and genres. We parallel the College’s larger mission of promoting “intellectual and cultural enrichment, individual achievement and professional development.” To that end, The Writing Studio seeks to demystify the writing process and empower student writers to develop effective strategies for any writing situation. We strive to help create a campus culture in which student learning continues beyond the classroom.

The Writing Studio maintains a staff of writing coaches who help students communicate effectively in their writing.

Students may submit a writing assignment through our  Ask a Tutor form.
