University Partners
RCSJ partners with many four-year universities, both on and off-campus to make earning a bachelor’s degree seamless while offering partnership perks that include cost and time-saving incentives.
The transfer process for all colleges and universities includes completion of a transfer application and submission of official transcripts from all higher education institutions that you’ve attended. Each college and university may have additional requirements, including:
- Transfer application fee
- Letters of recommendation
- Personal statements
- College and High School transcripts
- Check with each university to learn their requirements
Generally, plan to apply for transfer a semester ahead of the semester you want to start at your new school.
The New Jersey state legislature passed the Statewide Transfer Agreement to ensure the transfer of academic credits between two-year community colleges and four-year senior public institutions.
Representatives from the College's four-year university partners maintain a schedule on each campus to meet with and advise students. At RCSJ-Gloucester, you can find representatives on the second floor of the College Center, room 211. At RCSJ-Cumberland, you can find representatives in the Brown University Center. Please contact [email protected] for availability. Representatives are not on campus every day.
Visit the Transcripts page to send or receive official copies of your RCSJ transcripts.

For more than 150 years, Saint Peter’s University, inspired by its Jesuit, Catholic identity, commitment to individual attention and grounding in the liberal arts, educates a diverse community of learners in undergraduate, graduate, doctoral and professional programs to excel intellectually, lead ethically, serve compassionately and promote justice in our ever-changing urban and global environment.
Rutgers University –Newark (RU-N) is a remarkably diverse, urban, public research university that is not just in Newark but of Newark—an anchor institution of our home city. We think of anchor institutions as place-based organizations that persist in their communities over generations even in the face of substantial capital flight, serving as social glue, economic engines, or both.
At Rutgers Newark, we embrace our identity as a federally designated Hispanic-Serving Institution, which we earned in 2016. Latinx undergraduate enrollment has grown more than 50% in the last decade and today more than 34% of undergraduates identify as Latinx. The diversity of our Latinx student body and the strength of the connections maintained by our students with their families’ ancestral homes across the world strengthens our commitment as an anchor institution that works with many partners in our community on challenges and solutions locally that resonate globally.
