From Nursing to Nutrition, Physical Therapy to Radiography, Sonography to Exercise Science — Rowan College of South Jersey’s Nursing & Health Professions Division offers the perfect blend of classroom instruction and hands-on clinical experience, preparing you to provide skilled and sympathetic patient care. The division offers exclusive benefits through its premier partnership with Inspira Health, along with the only Physical Therapist Assistant program in South Jersey.
The Nursing & Health Professions Division offers access to one-of-a-kind degree and certificate programs that provide the option for direct entry into the workforce. These programs are strengthened with personalized advising and a robust clinical placement program, offered in partnership with 70+ industry partners including Inspira, Atlanta Care, CHOP, Cooper, Cooper Cape, Jefferson New Jersey, Shore Memorial, and Virtua.

Meet the Dean
“When our students graduate, they are prepared to start working right away and, in most cases, they also have the opportunity to continue on for that advanced degree. We’re so proud of our graduates who stay nearby and go on to become the primary workforce and our healthcare partners in the South Jersey region; and we’re proud of our graduates who travel afar and go on to make an impact in their new communities through their chosen field.
Although our students admit that our programs are challenging, it is such a celebratory event when they finish their degree, earn that licensure in their specific discipline, and are able to give back to the community.”
Dr. Susan Hall leads the development and management of health professions programs across the Gloucester and Cumberland campuses. With a deep commitment to aligning academic initiatives with industry needs, Dr. Hall has played a pivotal role in expanding RCSJ’s business offerings, securing accreditations, and developing innovative curricula to prepare students for real-world success.

The Nursing & Health Professions Division’s premier partnership with healthcare giant, Inspira Health, provides RCSJ students with priority clinical placement, exclusive scholarship access, pre- and post-graduation employment opportunities, and more, to help propel local talent into high-wage, in-demand healthcare careers.
Inspira employees receive a 50% discount on tuition and per-credit fees when they choose to upskill with any of RCSJ’s degree or certificate programs. Additional tuition-saving programs are in place for Inspira employees who pursue their B.S. in Nursing through RCSJ’s 3+1 program and those who complete the A.A.S. in Health Sciences: Respiratory Therapy and transfer to Rowan University to complete their B.S. in Respiratory Therapy.

RCSJ’s longstanding relationship with Rowan University offers students in this division the opportunity to save big on a bachelor’s degree. 3+1 Program participants complete their first three years of education on RCSJ’s campus and their final year at Rowan University.
