RCSJ’s Division of Communication and Creative & Performing Arts provides access to one-of-a-kind degree and certificate programs and personalized advisement for its own students – and elective courses for students of all majors – taught by faculty who are as experienced in their discipline as they are in the classroom.

Marcela Savelski leads the development and management of CCPA programs across the Gloucester and Cumberland campuses. With a deep commitment to aligning academic initiatives with industry needs, she has played a pivotal role in expanding RCSJ’s offerings in communications and the arts, securing accreditations, and developing innovative curricula to prepare students for real-world success.

Start earning the experience to stand out in your discipline with student-led, faculty-supported outlets to flex your creative muscles, refine your skills, and develop your voice. These opportunities are open to all students, regardless of their academic division. 

Communicators and creators will find plenty of opportunities to tell their stories through the Vanguard literary magazine, the Voice newspaper, and campus film and media production clubs

Fine art enthusiasts will discover opportunities to create and display their work and peruse the work of other artists in the Arts & Innovation Center and Dr. Ross Beitzel art galleries or sculpt and shape their vision into reality at the RCSJ Clay College studio or the InnovationStudio makerspace. Talk to your dean to find the right opportunity for you.
