Food Pantries
The Gloucester and Cumberland campus Food Pantries provide students with free, confidential access to nutritious food and essential items, supporting wellbeing, reducing food insecurity, and helping students stay focused on academic success.
Overview
RCSJ is dedicated to supporting our students – because no student should attend class on an empty stomach! That’s why we proudly offer The Pantry, a friendly, campus-based food pantry located on both our Cumberland and Gloucester campuses.
Whether a student is in need of a quick meal to keep them energized or groceries to stock their home, The Pantry is here to assist students. We also provide essential household and hygiene items such as toilet paper, toothbrushes, and period care products – all free and with complete confidentiality.
Who is eligible to use The Pantry?
Current RCSJ students at either campus who are facing challenges with accessing food, The Pantry is here to help.

SNAP
Students may be eligible for food assistance through New Jersey’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). SNAP is a federal program that can help individuals and families with low incomes buy the groceries they need to eat healthy. Eligibility depends on several factors like income, household size, resources, etc. Visit NJ Snap for eligibility requirements.
Current students can access the most up-to-date information about these services by visiting the myRCSJPortal and logging into their account.
“I remember the very first day that I went to the Advisement office, and I just broke down and cried. The person I spoke to took me straight to the Wellness Center and my life changed from there on out."
