Institutional Effectiveness is a collaboration within the various departments of Rowan College of South Jersey to define anidentify expected outcomes for administrative programs, educational programs and support services.  An alignment of the institutional goals with accreditation, assessment, and data analysis provides RCSJ with a clear picture of the decision-making process and expected outcomes to ensure program and service achievement.

The College Mission and Goals serve as the foundation and guide for all college activities. From these mission-driven priorities, the college engages in Strategic Planning, a process-oriented approach that includes:

  • Academic Planning
  • Administrative Planning
  • Budget Planning
  • Operations Planning

The plans developed through this process are then evaluated through Institutional Effectiveness, which focuses on measuring outcomes and results, including:

  • Assessment of Student Learning
  • Assessment of Administrative Services
  • Assessment of Support Services

This ongoing process promotes continuous improvement across the institution.
