Academic Honor Societies

Tri-Alpha is dedicated to celebrating the academic accomplishments of RCSJ’s first-generation students.

Alpha Beta Gamma recognizes and encourages scholarship among business and professional students enrolled at two-year degree-granting institutions.

Alpha Delta Nu promotes scholarship and recognizes academic excellence of students in the study of the Associate Degree - Nursing.

Delta Alpha Phi is an honor society for associate degree Sociology students that recognizes those who excel academically.

The Gamma Beta Phi society aims to broaden its members’ academic and philanthropic lives so that they may graduate ready to make a difference in the world.

Kappa Delta Pi recognizes students who excel within Education.

Lambda Alpha Epsilon is the National Honor Society for Criminal Justice majors. 

Lambda Epsilon Chi recognizes paralegal studies for their academic excellence.

Mu Alpha Theta was formed to engender keener interest in mathematics, to develop sound scholarship in the subject and promote enjoyment of mathematics to students.

PTK is the official Honor Society for two-year colleges. Phi Theta Kappa provides stimulation and enrichment while promoting academic integrity.

Rowan College of South Jersey hosts two chapters of Phi Theta Kappa.  The Gloucester Campus is home to the Alpha Psi Pi Chapter and the Cumberland Campus is home to the Rho Gamma Chapter.

Psi Beta’s mission is to encourage professional development and psychological literacy through the promotion and recognition of excellence in scholarship, leadership, research, and community service.

The National Society of Leadership and Success is a leadership program that teaches interpersonal skills that give you an advantage in a competitive job market. Students are selected based on exemplary academic achievement and leadership potential.
