Focus 2 is a free online resource that helps you explore potential career pathways and understand how RCSJ's academic programs align with your interests and goals. 

Get Started 

  1. Visit the Focus 2 Career Portal Registration to create your account. 
  2. Use the RCSJ access code: FutureReady! 
  3. Once logged in, complete the five self-assessments and the three Career Planning Foundation assessments to start discovering your ideal career path. 

  • Explore careers based on your personality, interests, values, skills, and leisure preferences. 
  • Learn about industries, salary expectations, job outlooks, and related majors offered at RCSJ. 
  • Not sure about your major/program? Focus 2 is a great place to start! 

  • Career Planning Foundations Tests 
  • These three assessments help you understand how to plan a successful career and what employers look for in strong candidates.

  • Work Interests 
  • Values 
  • Personality 
  • Leisure Interests 
  • Skills 

You can view career results from each assessment separately or combine them for more refined recommendations. 

That's okay! Focus 2 is just a starting point. If your results don't quite fit, schedule an appointment with RCSJ Counseling and Career Advisor Maxwell Armstrong to review your assessments and talk through other options that might be a better match for you.
