Our Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations program is designed for individuals who meet the required educational and experience criteria including those on environmental commissions or working in environmental science-related roles. This 90-hour course is divided into two components: fundamental wastewater treatment plant operations and the New Jersey DEP certification syllabus. Students study essential terminology, core concepts, applied mathematics, and practical examples of commonly used equipment. Course topics cover household waste, combined waste streams, and public wastewater treatment facilities. Upon successful completion, students are eligible to qualify for the S-2 credential and may advance toward higher-level licenses.

Enrollment Instructions
1. Visit our enrollment website and select your course with the appropriate start date.
2. Click “Add to Cart.” You will be prompted to create a new student profile.
3. Complete your enrollment by submitting payment for the course.
4. Download and complete the enrollment packet, if applicable, and send to [email protected] or drop off at the Cumberland or Gloucester CTE Office.
