Program Learning
Central Service Technicians are crucial members of the medical field and usually work in clinics, hospitals, doctors' offices and other settings that use medical equipment. They're responsible for maintaining a sterile environment and preventing patient infection. Our training program will provide you with 140 hours of instruction and a 400-hour externship opportunity.
Upon successful completion, you will be prepared to sit for the Registered Central Service Technician (R.C.S.T.) exam with the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA). You will be eligible for permanent certification after completing 400 hours of experience.

Enrollment Instructions
1. Visit our enrollment website and select your course with the appropriate start date.
2. Click “Add to Cart.” You will be prompted to create a new student profile.
3. Complete your enrollment by submitting payment for the course.
4. Download and complete the enrollment packet, if applicable, and send to [email protected] or drop off at the Cumberland or Gloucester CTE Office.
