Program Learning
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program prepares students to assist with the physical, psychological, and social needs of clients in a variety of healthcare settings. The program consists of 50 hours of classroom instruction combined with 40 hours of supervised clinical training, ensuring students gain both the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to succeed as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Students in this state-approved program will learn to provide essential basic care and support with daily living activities. Training includes assisting patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting; safely transferring patients between beds and wheelchairs; measuring and recording vital signs; serving meals and assisting with feeding; and observing and reporting changes in patient health to nursing staff.

Enrollment Instructions
1. Visit our enrollment website and select your course with the appropriate start date.
2. Click “Add to Cart.” You will be prompted to create a new student profile.
3. Complete your enrollment by submitting payment for the course.
4. Download and complete the enrollment packet, if applicable, and send to [email protected] or drop off at the Cumberland or Gloucester CTE Office.
