Program Learning
In the Industrial Maintenance Technician program, the Basic Pneumatic Systems course teaches students to follow fluid power system safety protocols while working with pneumatic equipment. Students learn to adjust branch operating pressure using regulators, control actuator speed with flow control valves, service pneumatic filters and lubricators, and install pneumatic conductors. Training also includes starting up and shutting down reciprocating air compressors, adjusting operating pressures, and installing and testing components in pneumatic circuits. Upon completion, students will be prepared to sit for the NIMS Basic Pneumatic Systems credential.

Enrollment Instructions
1. Visit our enrollment website and select your course with the appropriate start date.
2. Click “Add to Cart.” You will be prompted to create a new student profile.
3. Complete your enrollment by submitting payment for the course.
4. Download and complete the enrollment packet, if applicable, and send to [email protected] or drop off at the Cumberland or Gloucester CTE Office.
