Program Learning Outcomes

The Arts and Sciences: Physics Option will provide students with two years of concentrated study for those who plan to pursue a baccalaureate degree in physics or related disciplines. Humanities and social science electives are incorporated to provide a broad educational experience.

Students who have completed the program should be able to:

  • Understand and apply fundamental principles to the study of science overall including the health sciences
  • Develop and demonstrate the basic skill set, techniques, and procedures required to do laboratory work in the physics and physics-related sciences
