Program Learning Outcomes
This program prepares students for entry-level employment in the fields of electronics, mechatronics, and manufacturing as well as transfer into baccalaureate programs leading to careers in fields in manufacturing, product development, management, and engineering technology across robotics, automotive, medical, and various industrial fields. The flexibility offered by this program allows for entrance directly into the workforce or transfer into the B.S. in engineering technology programs.
Students who have completed the program should be able to:
- Conduct tests, measurements and experiments to analyze and interpret results
- Apply algebra to analyze simple electrical circuits
- Employ standardized industrial equipment such as Programmable Logic Controllers and apply the principles of quality control
- Understand industrial and commercial robotics technology
- Design solutions for technical problems and assist with the engineering design of systems, components or processes related to electrical engineering

Education Unique to Each Student
My experience at RCSJ has been very community oriented. My participation in the STEM club has been invaluable. I've also made other connections, like at Rowan University and Princeton University, offering one-of-a-kind research opportunities.
