Full funding is available for qualified individuals, and we’re here to help you through the process. If you don’t qualify, there are other payment options available to get you on your way. 

Non-credit classes are not eligible for financial aid, however the college provides several payment options for students, such as: 

CTE Foundation Scholarship Application

Awards are based on student need and may be applied to the following costs: registration, fees, books, course-specific supplies, and credentialing exams.

School Counts! Scholarship

The School Counts! CTE Scholarship is a $500 reimbursable scholarship students can apply for when registering for a non-credit certificate program. Students must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the scholarship: 

  • Must be a resident of Cumberland County. 
  • Student must show current year tax return to demonstrate a financial need (AGI of $65,000 or less per year). 
  • Students must have a 95% attendance record by certificate completion. 
  • Student must maintain a C or better

Pathways to Recovery Grant

The Pathways to Recovery Program, funded by the NJ Department of Labor, supports services for individuals impacted by the opioid crisis. The program provides participants with career services, support services, and career training to prepare them for employment in in-demand industries. 

Displaced Homemakers Grant

The Displaced Homemakers Program on the RCSJ – Cumberland Campus has received a grant that provides services to displaced homemakers to assist them in transitioning back into the workplace.

GI Bill

GI Bill benefits help you pay for school and cover expenses while you’re training for a job. Since 1944, the GI Bill has helped qualifying Veterans and their family members get money to cover all or some of the costs for school or training.

Workforce Development WIOA Grants

The Gloucester County and Cumberland County Workforce Development Board have Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) grants that you may qualify for. WIOA is designed to help job seekers access employment, education, training, and support services to succeed in the labor market and to match employers with the skilled workers they need to compete in the global economy.
