The partnership between Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ) and Exelon, through its regional utility at Atlantic City Electric, reflects a shared commitment to workforce development and community investment.

Established to address growing demand in the energy sector, the collaboration has expanded over time to provide students with clear pathways into high-demand utility careers.

RCSJ and Atlantic City Electric work together to align academic programs with industry needs, offering hands-on training, access to industry-recognized credentials, and exposure to real-world energy operations.

A key component of the partnership is the ACE STEM Camp, which introduces middle and high school students to energy careers through interactive, experiential learning opportunities. The initiative also supports internships, mentorship, and job placement pipelines, strengthening the regional workforce.

Together, RCSJ and Exelon continue to build a sustainable talent pipeline while creating meaningful opportunities for students to succeed in the evolving energy industry.
