Discover how energy and climate science shape our world through hands-on STEM projects, interactive challenges, and real-world experiences. At the ACE-celerate STEM Summer Camp, you'll go beyond the classroom to experiment, design, and collaborate with other motivated students.
This free two-week summer camp is open to selected Cumberland County students who will enter 9th–12th grade in Fall 2026. Due to limited capacity, only 50 students will be selected to participate. Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria will be entered into the selection process as described in the application.
The application deadline is July 9th.
Camp Dates: August 10–14 and August 17–21, 2026*
Time: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Location: Rowan College of South Jersey Cumberland Campus
*Must attend the full two weeks
What to Expect:
- Daily breakfast and lunch provided
- Hands-on STEM activities focused on energy and climate change
- Chaperoned field trips
- Access to college-level facilities, including the Mechatronics Innovation Learning Lab (MILL)
- Camp swag and additional program materials
