RCSJ CTE to Host Hiring Event for Trade Industry Professionals

Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ) Career & Technical Education will host a Hiring Event on Thursday, October 1, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., seeking experienced industry professionals interested in sharing their knowledge and expertise with students and adult learners preparing for careers in the skilled trades. 

The event will highlight part-time and adjunct teaching opportunities supporting both RCSJ’s credit programs and workforce training programs. Positions are available with day, evening, and Saturday schedules, providing flexibility for professionals who are currently working in the industry as well as retired tradespeople looking for an opportunity to train the next generation. 

RCSJ is especially seeking professionals with experience in: 

• HVAC 
• Electrical 
• Welding 
• Carpentry 
• Plumbing 

Industry professionals bring valuable real-world experience to the classroom, helping students develop the technical knowledge and hands-on skills needed to succeed in today’s workforce. 

“Industry professionals have a unique perspective that can make a lasting impact on students preparing for careers in the skilled trades,” said Dr. Brenden Rickards, president of Rowan College of South Jersey. “We are looking for experienced professionals who want to share what they know, inspire the next generation, and help strengthen the region’s skilled workforce.”
