Program Learning
The Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations program is designed to meet the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) requirement that individuals seeking an industrial wastewater treatment system license complete an approved industrial wastewater management course prior to sitting for the certification exam. This program prepares students for licensure by covering critical topics such as system monitoring, industrial treatment processes, equipment operation and maintenance, safety procedures, and nitrogen and phosphorus removal. Upon successful completion of the course, participants are eligible to take the NJDEP "N" category license examination for industrial and process wastewater treatment systems.

Enrollment Instructions
1. Visit our enrollment website and select your course with the appropriate start date.
2. Click “Add to Cart.” You will be prompted to create a new student profile.
3. Complete your enrollment by submitting payment for the course.
4. Download and complete the enrollment packet, if applicable, and send to [email protected] or drop off at the Cumberland or Gloucester CTE Office.
