Program Learning
The Introduction to Wastewater Treatment & Wastewater Collections Systems Class involves a series of processes designed to remove contaminants from water through physical, chemical, and biological methods. By completing this course, students will not only build valuable classroom experience but also prepare themselves for more advanced coursework and specialized training in the field. This course will help candidates succeed in the S-1 and C-1, New Jersey licensing exams, setting a strong foundation for future professional growth in wastewater industry.
Outcomes
- Explain the fundamentals of wastewater treatment and wastewater collection systems.
- Identify physical, chemical, and biological processes used to remove contaminants from wastewater.
- Describe the basic components and functions of wastewater collection systems.
- Apply foundational knowledge and problem-solving skills related to wastewater operations.

3. Complete your enrollment by submitting payment for the course.
4. Download and complete the enrollment packet, if applicable, and send to [email protected] or drop off at the Cumberland or Gloucester CTE Office.
