Program Learning Outcomes
This program provides the general education foundation and program content required for students who are planning to transfer to a baccalaureate degree in a Secondary Education Social Studies Certification program. (Students who plan to transfer to Stockton University will enter their third year with all courses transferring seamlessly.)
Students who have completed the program should be able to:
- Communicate effectively in writing and orally
- Demonstrate an understanding of various scientific, artistic, social, and historical ideas and perspectives
- Demonstrate foundational knowledge of political science
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of the teaching profession, educational systems, and pedagogy
