Policy: 1009

The Board of Trustees recognizes that educational and professional conferences are of professional value to those attending, as well as to the College overall.

Whenever a member of the Board of Trustees plans on attending an overnight conference, depending on which county the member represents (Cumberland or Gloucester), the respective Board of County Commissioners will be notified for review and approval of the request. The approved travel experience will be reported on by the Board member at a meeting of the full Board and noted in the Board minutes a with the respective Board of County Commissioners receiving a link to the Board of Trustees’ College website page for access once the minutes are approved at a subsequent Board meeting.

Reimbursement of expenses will be governed by Board policy and administrative procedure.
