Policy: 3109

The College honors and respects the academic effort of all its students and, in extraordinary circumstances, the Board of Trustees may award a posthumous degree, a special type of honorary degree, to a student who has passed away prior to completing all degree requirements.

The President will have administrative procedures developed to establish the process and criteria for awarding a degree posthumously.
