A student at the College is deemed to be in Good Standing when making satisfactory progress toward the completion of program requirements earning a cumulative grade point average of 2.000 or higher and completing 12 college level credits.

Federal regulations associated with minimal levels of progress application to financial aid students will be administered through the College’s Financial Aid Office.

A student will be placed on academic warning when the student’s cumulative GPA falls below 2.000 after a minimum of 12 college-level credits have been attempted Credit restrictions apply when students are on academic probation.  A student will be removed from academic probation when the student’s cumulative GPA has risen to 2.000.

Those who continue to demonstrate unsatisfactory academic progress will be placed on academic probation for the next full academic semester.

If a student continues to demonstrate unsatisfactory progress while on probation, the student will be placed on academic leave. To initiate readmission to the College, the student must schedule an appointment with the assigned academic advisor to discuss campus resources and develop strategies for academic improvement.

The President will direct the development of administrative procedures to further define the process associated with this policy.
