Policy: 8101

The College is committed to a policy of equal opportunity in student admissions, financial aid and other policies and procedures without regard to age, sex, race, color, religious belief, national origin or disability.

General admission to the College is open to everyone who can benefit from higher education and who meets the following requirements:

  • graduated from an accredited high school or charter school; or
  • completed a secondary school education in a home school setting; or
  • earned a secondary school education completion credential; or
  • met performance standards on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) for international students or completion of an Intense English Language Program (IELP); or
  • demonstrated academic competence, ability and maturity to participate in an adult learning environment, regardless of age.

Admission to the College does not guarantee rights to financial aid programs. The College will adhere to all federal and state statutes relating to awarding financial aid.

The College reserves the right to make the final decision on selective or special admissions.

The President will have administrative procedures developed to implement this policy.
