Admission to the RCSJ Radiography program is selective, meaning it is not guaranteed and requires additional steps towards admission.

This program requires a portfolio with a checklist of duties, which must be completed by the deadline for admission consideration.
- Portfolio Opens: January 5, 2026
- Final Deadline: February 27, 2026 at 4:30 p.m.
- Decision Sent: April 2, 2026
- Decisions will be sent to your RCSJ student email.
The Radiography program combines general education with radiography courses to prepare students to become skilled radiographers, contributing to the healthcare industry and patient care.
2026 Radiography Information Sessions
- All applicants must attend ONE information session from the dates below prior to submission of a portfolio.
- Advance registration is required for all sessions.
- All information sessions will start promptly at the posted time and last about 1.5 – 2 hours.
- Late entries (10 minutes past start time) will be prohibited. Plan accordingly!

Radiography Frequently Asked Questions
Radiography is a Cumberland campus program.
Graduates from the Radiography Program at RCSJ earn an Associate in Applied Science, Radiography.
Graduates are eligible to apply to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Examination in Radiography and become nationally certified and licensed by the State of New Jersey.
Six semesters, which is two academic years, including two congruent summer sessions
It is dependent on clinical site availability and faculty availability
It is a daytime, weekday program, 4-5 days per week in Radiography activities including 2-3 days clinical, 4-5 days lecture, and 1 day lab.
Students must be at least 18 years old by the first day of the fall semester.
Graduates and other current Radiographers can continue their education in RCSJ’s Career and Technical Education CT and MRI programs.
