Temporarily,  Students may apply with a paper application and may register in-person by visiting the Student Center.

Mission Statement

About the Mission Statement

On July 1, 2019 Cumberland County College and Rowan College at Gloucester County merged to form Rowan College of South Jersey. A new mission statement has been developed based on the previous mission statements of Cumberland and Gloucester. The mission statement is being evaluated jointly as the college goes through the strategic planning process.


RCSJ Mission Statement (effective July 1, 2019)

Rowan College of South Jersey is a student success-oriented, accessible and affordable learning center dedicated to enhancing its community's economic development and quality of life by striving for academic excellence in offering innovative programs and services to a diverse community of learners in a safe and caring environment.


CCC Mission Statement (ceased as of June 30, 2019)

Cumberland County College is committed to student success and to serving a diverse community of learners and businesses by providing quality, innovative programs as an accessible, affordable, learning-centered community college.


RCGC Mission Statement (ceased as of July 1, 2019)

Rowan College at Gloucester County is a center for learning that strives for academic excellence, supports the economic development of the community and seeks to enhance the community's quality of life through affordable, accessible programs and services in a safe and caring environment. ​
