Clay College, located in Millville, N.J. as part of RCSJ’s Arts & Innovation Center, provides classes for credit and non-credit students to learn the process of pottery and the ceramic arts. Students form distinctive pottery and sculpture by using various hand building techniques including pinch, coil slab, and the pottery wheel.
Clay College’s offerings are popular among students of all ages and abilities who take courses during the day, in the evenings, and on weekends. Students can take ceramics courses with a career in mind or for personal enrichment.
Clay College is a spacious facility that’s 150 feet long and equipped with 15 pottery wheels and four kilns. The gallery located at the entrance showcases the work of students as well as local and regional artists.
The studio is open every day and is available for students to work outside of class time.
