Policies & Procedures
Policy: 8605
Rowan College of South Jersey (“RCSJ” or “College”) is committed to ensuring the students, employees, and College community members can safely participate in all academic activities and campus events, including RCSJ-sponsored events held at venues located off RCSJ’s campuses. Judicial and law enforcement resources are an essential component for safeguarding the health, safety, and welfare of the entire College community.
On occasion, law enforcement authorities may need to intervene in daily campus operations to fulfill their duties. When such interventions occur, RCSJ seeks to maintain a secure and safe environment which balances compliance with federal, state, county, and local laws and the College’s core values of dignity and respect for all involved.
The President will oversee the development of administrative procedures to guide administrative and judicial order compliance, and law enforcement interventions.
